The Alentejo is one of the regions in Europe with the most hours of sunshine per year. This is where the use of solar systems is obvious, because solar energy can be used very efficiently. Five large solar plants with a total of 81 KW are connected on the farm.
As a rule, we generate more energy than we take ourselves for irrigation and cooling, and we can feed electricity into the public electricity grid.
