The 1000 hectares of Herdade dos Lagos in Vale de Camelos are completely organic. Organic farming forms the basis for our entire agricultural working method – but we go far beyond that.
We apply basic principles of permaculture to keep water in the ground, promote biodiversity and biodiversity, foreforest vast areas with native species, protect nature and bird life through nature reserves on our farm, create reservoirs and operate sustainable energy management with solar energy.
